Athletes who represent the Grand Rapids Christian High School in athletics have already achieved positions of honor, responsibility, and accomplishment. As a Division 3 high school in Michigan, Grand Rapids Christian has 52 teams competing in 27 varsity sports, plus one “no-cut” sport. Over 60 percent of the student body is involved in athletics at the school.

In baseball, Grand Rapids Christian erupted for seven runs in the top of the sixth inning to defeat Grosse Ile 9-1 in the Division 2 state semifinals. The Wildcats, led 2-1 until the top of the sixth inning. Grand Rapids Christian ace Kyle Remington pitched against Grosse Ile hurler Michael Madigral. Grosse Ile had the lead in the fifth inning, but was unable to score a run until the final frame.
